We visited the Uffizi gallery in Florence last year and enjoyed many of Boticelli's famous paintings such as The Birth of Venus and Primavera. What really struck me was the way he painted female faces so beautifully in a perfectly soft golden light, and it really reminded me of the beautiful golden lustre of pearls.
Here we have three uniquely shaped Baroque pearls hanging from a Mother of Pearl kite shape set in a sterling silver stud back earring. These earrings are classic and opulent, just like a priceless Botticelli.
